111 Hours - 6 Bills in the House - No Changes - No Mandate - No Difference
Filed: May 21st 2007: News

Do you remember that the Democrats promised to make changes when they got into office in the first 100 hours? Well, it was a huge political mass media press event and they sent out releases to 8,000 news outlets 16 times over the whole ordeal, not counting all the interviews and rhetoric.

Well, our Online Think Tank thought that we ought to follow up on it all, because when if comes to politics, heck it is all the same no matter who is promoting the podium pushers or which party they are on. Okay so here is what happened Congress passed 6 bills only one was passed by the Senate and it was vetoed. So the total extent of all this hoopla is Zilch, Nada, Nothing. Yep that is the truth: 100 Hours - 6 Bills in the House - No Changes - No Mandate - No Difference.

The question is do you care? Probably not, no one really does, but the politicians want to make you think that they are doing a good job? Not hardly, it is all show and no go, all the time and it has been this way for 100 years now. Maybe that is a good thing, as everything the government does it does not do very well. So you want to quote me on that?

Well, don’t bother because that quote belongs to Ronald Reagan, it didn’t change then and it is not going to change now. Deal with it, accept the incompetence and become a Sheeple! No, Sheeple can’t vote, but what good does it do anyway?
